HCompany just dropped something that actually makes me want to use a browser agent again.
They released Holo3, their latest computer-use model, a couple weeks back. HoloTab is the Chrome extension that puts it to work directly in your browser. No API keys, no Python scripts, no command line. You install it, tell it what to do, and it does it.
I’ve been burned by “AI that does stuff in your browser” before. Most of them are either too slow to be useful or break the second a website changes its CSS. But HoloTab handles the vision and action planning on its own, and it actually works like a person would. It sees the page, figures out what to click, fills in fields, and moves on. You just watch.
Routines: The feature that actually saves time
The one-shot tasks are fine. “Go find the price of this product on five sites” and it does it. But the real win here is Routines.
You hit record, go through a workflow once, and narrate what you’re doing. HoloTab captures your clicks and your screen, and builds a routine you can replay anytime. I’ve been using it to scrape competitor pricing off a dozen e-commerce tabs every morning. Used to take me 20 minutes. Now it runs while I’m still on my first coffee.
The scheduling part is nice too. Set it to run every Monday at 9 AM, and it just does the thing. No reminders, no manual triggers.
No gatekeeping here
What I like most is that HCompany isn’t trying to sell this as an enterprise tool first. HoloTab is free. Anyone can grab it from the Chrome Web Store right now. That’s refreshing when most computer-use AI is locked behind waitlists or requires a team of engineers to wire up.
The tech is genuinely impressive, but the real test is whether people actually use it. If you’ve ever had to copy-paste data across 20 tabs or manually check job boards every day, this is worth a try.
